The Maintenance Room

The Maintenance Room is one of the rooms once referred to as Bathroom and had its door next to the front door in the hall. Now there is a smaller door opposide the wardrobe room. It may still serve for a shower and a hot bath in a bath-tub and there is the usual toilet and wash basin. It has been used as a maintenance room with equipment for washing in a large and effective American Whirlpool washing machine.

There is also a Swedish-Italien Zanussy/Eletrolux tumble heater, and a home-made racet for haning up clothes to dry, which is more ecologically friendly and much cheaper than the seldom used but more effective tumbler.
